While in the 21st century Geanina teaches in a secondary school in London, much of her time is also spent in the 16th century, exploring Tudor homes. She is particularly fascinated by the domestic lives of the Tudor women and their wide array of skills. On The Merry Tudor blog you will learn how Tudor women made medicine and cosmetics in the stillroom, how they preserved food, the way they dressed and how they made their clothes, health, diseases, diet and remedies.
