A lifelong resident of Pennsylvania (US), I grew up curious about the blue and gold markers scattered throughout the commonwealth detailing bits and bobs of our local history. But the internet didn't become a thing until I was a grown woman, so it was hard to learn more about them. Now that blogging is a thing, and with the permission of the organization which puts up those historical markers, I'm on a quest to delve further into the stories behind each one and share what I find with my readers. It manages to be even more interesting than I ever imagined!
