Welcome to my Medieval History Blog! I have recently graduated from the University of Birmingham with a history degree and I am planning on doing a masters in Public History at York University. I have always loved history but have become more interested in how it appeals (or does not) to other people and how it can be more approachable. I love listening to history podcasts or finding a blog post when looking up something random that I know nothing about, so I hope this blog can perform a similar function for you. This blog is focused on medieval history because that’s what I find most interesting, my dissertation focused on the Ilkhanate dynasty in fourteenth century Iran (which no one has ever heard of!). I also love watching medieval TV series such as the Last Kingdom and have found myself becoming more interested in British History which I plan to discuss! Hope you enjoy a browse.
