A Bit About Britain is a personal, independent, project that seeks to inspire, inform and entertain. It provides a portal into Britain’s history and heritage, tells stories that put places and events into context – and appeals to armchair travellers, as well as to those already in Britain, or intending to visit. When I last looked, A Bit About Britain contained about 40 pages of information, 400 articles, details of over 750 places of interest and thousands of photographs. The articles feature mainstream attractions, such as well-known castles and historic houses, as well articles about less obvious places of interest, events in Britain’s history and the origins of some of our customs and traditions.

Welcome to The History Creatives Hub. This is the place to showcase the amazingly eclectic and talented people within the history loving community. I’m sure you’ll find, as I have, some wonderful blogs, podcasts, channels, products, authors and more to connect with.
And, if you’re reading this and run a history inspired venture then what are you waiting for…
